SECOND PLACE: Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey

Description: Oh come on, read it yourself. I don’t have time to quote it right now.

Congratulations to XR-377 as although Bazag had a great mission … Time Will Tell won by unanymous vote!

It was a VERY compelling story that left us wanting more! … We look forward to crafting this one at a later date into a future episode of Gates of Sto’Vo’Kor (pending your authorization for us to do so)!

XR-377 …. Let me know which of the following prizes you want as your grand prize.

– Requisition for a Temporal Science Ship
– Requisition for a Temporal Shuttle
– Requisition for an assortment of four different cross faction consoles.
– Klingon Mirror Battle Cruiser
– Klingon Mirror Qin Raptor

Bazag … We also truly enjoyed your mission, especially the game of “Stomp the Bob” as we moved down the corridor. (I’ve never never never had so much fun going down a single hallway  )

Baz, let me know your #1 and #2 choice for your prize, in case your first choice matches XR-277′s choice.

And that leaves “A Rescue In Time.”

Dalolorn, we enjoyed the start of your mission as well as where it was heading, but unfortunately we just could not get past the part where you had to trigger the holographic wall. For all of us, the mission became broken at that point.

Korrath tried sending you a message with hopes you could get it patched, but as it remained broken … We had to withdraw it from the main competition.

However, because we recognize the work that went into it, we wanted to make sure you were recognized with a consolation award and you will be receiving a Klingon Mirror Qin Raptor.

To all three authors … THANK YOU THANK YOU for entering the contest!

Qapla’ !!!

All prizes have been sent to our winners.

Cha’ pagh wa’ cha(2012) – Cha’ pagh wa’ wej(2013)

The Earth calendar year comes to a close and it is the custom of many to reflect on the events of the passing year before it fades into memory. So, being the one who touched his nose last, it falls to me to look back on the past year of Gates of Sto-vo-kor.

Our year began with a bang with the release of the Sto-vo-dor Cigar commercial series followed by our season premier “The Baked Tribble.” This episode was a special one as it featured the debuts of Hauk and Deyvid as regular cast members and the first story written by G’hargh. The year began well with listenership rising steadily with the releases like New Ships, Bortas Launch Party, and Honor. March brought us our first major Community Event, Klingon Awareness Week! Partnered with Tribbles in Ecstasy we staged a massive weeklong celebration of the Klingon Faction with PvE events, Bat’leth tournaments and more. It was a great success.

April brought First Contact week and our first interview with Star Trek Online’s Executive Producer Dan Stahl! We also started our first Foundry contest featuring the Ferengi, the following month “The Honor of Profit” by Bazag became out first winner. In May we began our second major recruitment drive. It was in that drive that the group obtained a new writer as well as our first non-Klingon, Me! A much needed reptilian representative in a mammalian infested medium. June brought us our first two episode arc and featured our largest voice cast yet as well as our first major action scene. In July we had our second interview with Cryptic Lead(and only) writer Kestrel and featured my own debut in writing as well as in voice.

In August we released one of our most popular episodes, “The Women of the Empire,” which alone brought in more than 3 thousand plays on our site. Also in August was the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention where many of us were able to meet and further promote the show among friends and fans alike. Our team continued to flex and expand as G’hargh tried his hand at editing with the short episode “Kobayashi Maru prank”

September was a glorious month as it was the month we released “Reflections of the Gorn,” my introduction as well as a study of the Gorn race in Star trek Online. Following that came the episode adaptation of “The Honor of Profit” featuring the voice of Bazag.

October and November brought two more additions to the team. The Lethian Mindsifter, Karn as a writer and host, and the intimidating Zadok Melkezadok who broke out onto the scene in the vignette “Dying Wish”

In December we tried something a little different by posting our episodes to Youtube.

What does 2013 have in store for Gates? Our season is not over yet. Expect a raucous three part adventure into the heart of an assimilated space station, the introduction of our resident Lethian, and last but not lest, our wild season finale! Following a production break expect the warriors of Sto-vo-kor to come back with a bang in our third season sometime next summer.

We would like to thank our fans and listeners for supporting us this year. We look forward to 2013 with great joy and anticipation. Stay with us and enjoy the fun that is Gates of Sto-vo-kor.
